Unity colossus of the Metaverse (?)

Hi, I am Jacopo Latrofa (aka fralapo) and today I’ll explain to you why Unity will be one of the giants of web 3.0, the so-called Metaverse.

In order to build the Metaverse you need a very powerful graphics engine and currently the only ones in the world capable of doing this are 2: Unity and Unreal Engine.

In particular, Unity has just acquired Weta Digital, a special effects company that won 5 Academy Awards for special effects in films such as Avatar, Lord of the Rings and King Kong

In addition, well-known companies rely on this graphics engine, including the two largest manufacturers of headsets in the world, Oculus and Microsoft Hololens
